The Financial Aid Office of Pennsylvania College of Technology recently was notified by The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency of a loan-forgiveness program for veteran students. This program will provide a one-time loan-forgiveness benefit up to $2,500 for student borrowers who served in the Armed Forces in active-duty status between Sept. 11, 2001, and Dec.

Aviation maintenance technology students Justine R. Wareham, of Hollidaysburg, and Joshua E. Swanger, of Northumberland, won a contest to receive balloon rides during last weekend's Montoursville Rotary Fall Foliage Hot Air Balloon Festival. The students departed from Williamsport Regional Airport via balloon for a scenic Thursday float about the valley.

Two HVAC technology majors at Pennsylvania College of Technology are among this year's eight recipients of scholarships from the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers. Clayton J. Bretz, of New Bloomfield, and Matthew P. Robinson, of Williamsport, both were honored with $2,000 scholarships at the NAOHSM Awards Banquet at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in May.

Twenty students enrolled in various majors within Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Natural Resources Management have picked up crucial support from Caterpillar.
