Penn's Inn was the place to be for exciting Texas Hold'em Poker action Tuesday night. Danielle Coakley, Penn College off-campus community assistant, planned the program, which was a huge success.

Nine Penn College students majoring in welding engineering technology, manufacturing engineering technology, heavy construction equipment technology and power generation technology toured Schramm Inc. in West Chester on Saturday. The students learned about the manufacture of Rotadrill rigs and possible full- and part-time job and cooperative-education opportunities.

Thirty-seven Pennsylvania College of Technology forestry students recently participated in intensive training to become Forest Stewardship Plan Writers. Beginning with the Fall 2007 semester, electronic tuition bills (eBill) will replace paper bills for returning Pennsylvania College of Technology students. New students still will receive a printed bill, but returnees (and/or their designees) will access an online bill via the secure Student Information System.

Students in Donald Nibert's Wildlife Management class visited the Loyalsock Game Farm during their three-hour lab Thursday to assist the Pennsylvania Game Commission in erecting nylon netting over holding pens for newly hatched pheasants. The netting is applied to protect the 4-week-old chicks from avian predators.
