Fifty graduates of Williamsport Technical Institute, a Penn College predecessor that existed under that name from 1941-65, returned Friday for the 16th annual WTI reunion. While on campus, they reminisced with one another, evoking the people and places of the college’s past.

PGA Tour professional Ryan Palmer will be the visiting pro for the 2016 Penn College Foundation Golf Classic, to be held Monday, June 20, at the Williamsport Country Club. An alumnus of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s forerunner is supporting the future of the school with a new scholarship. Paul and Erika Sykes, of Royal Oak, Michigan, have established a scholarship through a bequest in their will. The scholarship will benefit graduates of Williamsport Area High School who enroll at Penn College.

Penn College students worked alongside renowned Chef David Danielson, executive chef at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, during last week's Spring 2016 Visiting Chef Series.
