Kyle A. Smith has been appointed executive director of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation. Established in 1981, the Penn College Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to secure financial and other support for the college. The 31st annual Penn College Foundation Golf Classic, partially washed out by rain earlier this month, has been rescheduled. The tournament – which has helped to fund nearly 600 student scholarships – and dinner will be held July 17 at the Williamsport Country Club.

Renowned golf entertainer, trick-shot artist and World Long Drive champion Dan Boever will headline the Penn College Foundation’s 31st Annual Golf Classic on June 19 at the Williamsport Country Club.

A Grand Pastry Buffet was the centerpiece for the college’s annual scholarship reception, which offers an opportunity for recipients of the more than 200 Penn College scholarships to mingle with and thank those who have funded the scholarships. The event, held Sunday, is the final project for students in the Pastry Food Show and Buffet Presentation Concepts course.

World-class chefs spent several days on the Penn College campus to impart their wisdom while they guided students in the production of the 25th Anniversary Visiting Chef Dinner, held April 7.
