Inspiration and unity are among the sentiments painted on "The Rock" for Women's History Month. Eighteen Pennsylvania College of Technology employees, singled out in comments from students and co-workers, were honored during March by the Student Government Association in observance of Women's History Month.

An administrator in the School of Engineering Technologies drew upon her vastly varied background this week – from two patents for co-inventions in biomedicine to teaching to dressing department-store manikins – to envision a STEM workforce as diverse as her resume.

Nine Pennsylvania College of Technology horticulture students recently journeyed to North Carolina State University for the 46th annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition. Jennifer R. Wahl, a social sciences instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was honored recently with the 2021 Outstanding Teaching Award by the Penn State College of Education Alumni Society. The award recognizes exemplary individuals in a full-time teaching capacity (traditional or nontraditional setting).

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Dunham Children’s Learning Center received an American Rescue Plan Act Child Care Stabilization Grant of $171,572. The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Education through STEP Inc. It is part of $655 million released in Pennsylvania to stabilize the state’s child care industry.
