Bruce A. Emig talks one-on-one with a student in this 2010 photo. Arrangements have been announced for Bruce A. Emig, an assistant professor of HVAC technology, who died Wednesday, May 29. An alumnus of Williamsport Area Community College and Penn College, he was a faculty member since 1989. Friends and family will be received at Sanders', 821 Diamond St., Williamsport,  from 6-8 p.m.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held three commencement ceremonies May 17-18 for more than 875 students who petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2013 semester. The Friday afternoon proceedings honored students from the schools of Business and Computer Technologies, Hospitality, and Transportation Technology.

Three members of the full-time faculty at Pennsylvania College of Technology were honored with teaching awards during commencement ceremonies held May 17-18 at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport. Four Pennsylvania College of Technology students and an administrator were among those honored during a recent Bucknell University Bison Battalion Army ROTC awards banquet. Cadet Benjamin J. Sauter, of Montoursville, is presented with the Alan D. Gardner Award from retired Col. Larry L. Erdley.
