Flash Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Portabello Mushroom Carpaccio, Miso Crisp Squab Breast and Sauteed Darne of Atlantic Salmon are among the gourmet dishes that four chefs from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., L.L.C. will prepare Saturday, April 8, at 7 p.m. at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant for the Distinguished Visiting Chefs series at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Building products and services with a "green" orientation will be on display Tuesday, March 28, at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Green Building Fair, which is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Penn College's Field House, will provide a forum for 40 vendors and professionals who will offer information and exhibit samples of their environmentally friendly products.

More than 50 businesses and industries will have recruiters at Pennsylvania College of Technology from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, to discuss potential career opportunities with students and alumni of Penn College and The Pennsylvania State University.

A breath of fresh air wafted through the Montgomery area Thursday, as Pennsylvania College of Technology's newly expanded Schneebeli Earth Science Center was dedicated. More than 200 high school students from throughout the state are preparing scores of mousetraps to capture honors, not mice, at Pennsylvania College of Technology this week. Instead of cheese, the students will rely on ingenuity to make effective use of mousetraps during Penn College's annual Mousetrap Racer Contest beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at the new Field House.

Greater access to campus and lasting evidence of the partnerships involved in its creation will be offered by Pennsylvania College of Technology's new main entrance, scheduled for dedication on Friday, Sept. 24. The 11 a.m.

A new Field House will be dedicated Tuesday, Aug. 17, in a ceremony that will recognize the prowess of Pennsylvania College of Technology's athletic teams and the talents of its student designers and builders.

Veteran PGA Tour member Greg Twiggs will be the featured player for the 13th annual Spring Golf Classic hosted by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Foundation. The event, set for Monday, May 10, at the Williamsport Country Club, is a fundraiser supporting scholarships for Penn College students.

Outstanding achievement awards for vocational-technical students and educators were presented recently at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Honored at the 14th annual Outstanding Vocational Student/Educator Awards Day were representatives from 36 schools in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
