Three Pennsylvania College chapters of honor societies held induction ceremonies on main campus Saturday,celebrating more than 90 new members for their academic achievement. Phi Theta Kappa Fifty-six students were inducted into the college's Beta Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society for students enrolled in two-year academic majors.

The first National Hands-On Thermoforming Workshop was held April 8-9 at Pennsylvania College of Technology, immediately following the Grand Opening for the college's Thermoforming Center of Excellence. Instructors for the two-day industry workshop were Mark Strachan, of Global Thermoforming Training Technologies Inc., and Jay Waddell, of Plastic Concepts & Innovations LLC.

A spring car show, sponsored by The Pennsylvania College of Technology Colony of Sigma Nu Fraternity, will be held Saturday, May 1, on the college's main campus in Williamsport. Students, faculty and staff, and the public are invited to show their vehicles at the second annual event, scheduled for the parking lot of the Carl Building Technologies Center.
Prints and Paintings," featuring work by Lauren Schiller and Tom Baker, will be on display at The Gallery at Penn College through May 2. An opening reception for the show was held Tuesday evening, preceded by a lecture in the first-floor Presentation Room of the Student and Administrative Services Center and an artists' talk in the gallery. Hours are 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 2-8 p.m.
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Interprofessional Education Coalition, founded by The Commonwealth Medical College, hosted four collaborative seminars April 13 to promote teamwork and gain an understanding of various health professionals' roles in improving quality and safety in patient care.
Mushrooms, whether harvested in the wild or plucked from the produce aisle, will be the subject of the Spring Madigan Library Forum at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Frank M. Suchwala, instructor of hospitality management/culinary arts in the college's School of Hospitality, will present "Mushrooms: Fun to Forage, Fun to Eat" in the library's second-floor reading loft from 4 to 5 p.m.
