Students from Penn College's School of Natural Resources Management recently got some help from acknowledged authorities when it comes to digging in the dirt: a group of boys and girls from the Williamsport YMCA child-care facility.

Prize money won by Pennsylvania College of Technology students at a competition in 2002 will be used to fund a new scholarship at the college. The School of Natural Resources Management Ornamental Horticulture Scholarship will generate a $1,000 award for each of the next six years.

A new scholarship fund at Pennsylvania College of Technology aims to reward high grades and community service among students in the college's School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies. The School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies Endowed Scholarship Fund is building toward endowed (permanent) status, with a goal of at least $25,000 in the fund.

Penn College announces the following position changes, effective immediately: Lawrence J. Fryda will become special assistant to the senior vice president for Stage10 building programs.
