The lecture was held prior to a reception celebrating “Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers," on exhibit through March 5 in The Gallery at Penn College.
Penn College students turned out for the recent “Sticker Shock” lecture and reception for the “Re-Writing the Streets 2.0: The International Language of Stickers” exhibition. Joining the students in the celebration of street art were college faculty and staff, as well as members of the wider community.
Hosted by The Gallery at Penn College through March 5, the exhibit showcases over 900 international stickers and explores the artform's powerful visual communication.

The "Re-Writing the Streets 2.0" exhibition continues, and gallery hours are: 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Noon to 4 p.m. Fridays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. (The gallery is closed on Mondays and Saturdays.) Admission is free and open to the public.
