Pennsylvania College of Technology has released its dean's list for the Spring 2011 semester.

A faculty member in the nursing program at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently received a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University. Dottie M. Mathers, associate professor of medical-surgical nursing, focused her doctoral studies on improving outcomes for patients with central venous access devices. Mathers has been a faculty member at Penn College since 1991.

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley was among those attending a gathering of the Governor's Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission on Penn College's main campus Tuesday evening. The lieutenant governor chairs the commission, which assembled in the Thompson Professional Development Center for dinner, panel presentation, question-and-answer session and group discussion.

Pennsylvania College of Technology, in conjunction with the Penn State University Athletic Conference, has announced the recipients of the Winter/Spring 2010-11 All-Academic Team award. The award is given to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the semester of competition (basketball is an average of both the fall and spring semester grades).
