On Sunday, Jan. 16, Penn College kicked off the return of wrestling with a full day of related activities. The Wildcats' "Wrestling Day" included a clinic with guest clinician Mark McKnight, a Pennsylvania State University resident athlete, followed by an intrasquad meet.

During a week that included a weather-related postponement, cancellation and a win by forfeit, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's and women's basketball teams went 3-1 overall. Penn College senior Greg Solyak (Lititz) received an honorable mention for United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Division II Player of the Week honorsduring the week ending Jan. 9. Solyak averaged 23.5 points and 11 rebounds, notching two double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Wildcats. He had a season-high 30 points against Division III Misericordia University.
