As their seasons near a conclusion, Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s basketball teams continue to show improvement, each posting back-to-back wins for the first time this season, and its wrestlers are fine-tuning for the postseason.

In their final tune-up before Sunday’s Penn State University Athletic Conference/United States Collegiate Athletic Association Championships, Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestlers competed Sunday in the Jayhawk Open at Jamestown (N.Y.) Community College and Wildcat Dan Frankenfield recorded a second-place finish in the 174-pound weight class.

Four members of the Penn College Martial Arts Club team attended a training seminar and tournament at The Pennsylvania State University on Saturday. Mathew D. Johnson, Alexander J. Hilton, Lewis C. Muya and Eric M. Russell represented Penn College, joining students from the host club, as well as from Drexel, Temple and Bucknell universities.

The start of the year brings a first for Pennsylvania College of Technology: the selection of twin brothers as Students of the Month. Chosen for the Student Government Association honor are Cody E.
