Penn College’s inspiring majors made their customary splash throughout the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg (Jan. 4-11), as a rotating regiment of subject experts satisfied each day's crowds – intellectually and nutritionally – at the nation’s largest indoor agricultural expo.

Gathering the Names” is the first exhibit of 2020 at The Gallery at Penn College, located on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library. Showcasing works by multimedia artist Sarah Nguyen, who uses folklore as a source of artistic inspiration, the exhibit runs Jan. 14 through Feb. 28. A reception is set for Thursday, Jan.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently named the winners in its annual Food Show, during which students showcased final projects for the fall semester for judges and visitors from seven secondary schools. Taking home the Chef Eugene Mattucci Best of Show Award was a three-student team that produced a “Fiesta!” cold platter and charcuterie board display.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Fall Commencement at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Stephanie A. Student Development Assistants from the office of Institutional Advancement engaged the campus community in various “give thanks” initiatives throughout the month of November.  They teamed up with Dining Services encouraging peers to “paw” it forward at various campus eateries by donating their flex or declining meal-plan dollars, all in support of The Cupboard and the battle against hunger.

A pair of traditional events helped kick off the holidays Thursday: a festival of Fall Family Fun at the Dunham Children's Learning Center and Penn College’s annual free Thanksgiving dinner. Parents and grandparents attended the center's celebration, held each fall in joyful appreciation as the semester draws to an close.

Student Wildcats of Robotic Design recently hosted its Fall Fights 2019, attracting 51 combat robots – fashioned from a variety of materials, both by students and the general public – for daylong competition in the Field House.
