Coaching from the sidelines of the Campus Center lawn, Career Services staff served more than 200 students at the Pre-Game Tailgate to the Career Fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday. The event, which included free food, fun and giveaways, began a series of activities that will culminate at the Oct 20-21 Career Fair.

The Penn College Motorsports Association co-hosted its fourth biannual autocross with the Sports Car Club of America Northeastern Region this past weekend. The event, held at Brodart Co. on Arch Street, is a skill contest that emphasizes drivers' ability and their cars' characteristics.

RA of the Month Honored as Resident Assistant of the Month was Marija G. Staznik, a hospitality management major fromHarrisburg and an RA in The Village at Penn College.

Five Pennsylvania College of Technology students are among 40 recipients of 2009-10 "Build Your Future" scholarships from Centex Homes and the National Housing Endowment.

Pennsylvania College of Technology students will prepare a tea luncheon on Oct. 19 to benefit the American Rescue Workers Men's Center in Williamsport. Under the direction of Chef Judith P. The Penn College Ultimate Frisbee team competed at Gettysburg College this past weekend in the Abe Lincoln Fall Classic, the first-ever tournament for all of the players on this year's squad. Penn College hydraulics students traveled to York on Wednesday for a tour of Garrod Hydraulics, a repair and remanufacturing facility that mainly deals with larger industrial/mobile-type hydraulic cylinders.

Impassioned students got the jump on next month's Homecoming observance, readily showing their Penn College Pride at Monday evening's women's soccer game against Lycoming College. The Wildcats came out on the other end of a 2-0 score, but the fan base marked by painted bodies and pure boosterism was strong.
