Cameron Manufacturing & Design, of Horseheads, N.Y., has established a new scholarship fund for students at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The family of the late Ryan and Karen English recently delivered a check to Pennsylvania College of Technology to be added to a scholarship fund started in 2011 by Ryan in support of students in the electronics and computer engineering technology majors. The Ryan and Karen English Marcellus Measurement Scholarship will provide perpetual annual awards.

A recent benefit for the William E. Henry Memorial Scholarship, established early last year by family and friends of a local trailblazer in emergency medical services, brought the fund $500 closer to endowment.

A Hughesville High School senior was presented with the 2013 Peggy Madigan Memorial Leadership Scholarship at Pennsylvania College of Technology on May 23. The brothers of Sigma Pi Fraternity recently hosted their second Rock-a-Thon in three years, spending 24 hours rocking in chairs to raise money in support of the Mary Beth Saar Memorial Scholarship.  The event, held in the Bush Campus Center’s TV Lounge, raised more than $145 for the scholarship fund.

A record crowd of 134 guests attended Sunday's Grand Pastry Buffet, a scrumptious culmination of course work for baking and pastry arts seniors and an acknowledgement by scholarship recipients of the donors who have smoothed their road to a Penn College diploma.
