A new scholarship fund that will benefit students enrolled in majors within the School of Health Sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology will begin generating scholarship awards in the coming academic year. The Savoy Health Sciences Scholarship is an endowed scholarship fund established by Carol Savoy.
Five-time PGA Tour winner D.A. Weibring will be the visiting pro at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation’s 26th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 25, at the Williamsport Country Club. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the foundation's Golf Classic Endowed Scholarship Fund, investment income from which generates more than $40,000 in scholarships each year.

Anita Gibbons and her late husband, Brian "J.B." Gibbons, played an important role in the expansion of Pennsylvania College of Technology when their family designed, developed, constructed and fully leased Campus View Apartments in 1989. Anita Gibbons operated the complex from 1989 until 1997, when the family sold Campus View, along with the former PBI industrial site, to the college.
