The dental hygiene program hosted the Northcentral Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center’s 16th annual Oral Health Conference on Oct. 27.

The funeral will be Friday for John H. "Jay" Hilsher Jr., a longtime faculty member at Williamsport Area Community College, who died Tuesday, Oct. 31, at age 84. Hilsher headed the printing department as an assistant professor of graphic arts technology at the Penn College predecessor, and owned Hilsher Graphics in South Williamsport for nearly 50 years.
