Pennsylvania College of Technology will host a Science Festival on March 6 sponsored by the college and Technology Futures of North Central PA. The event, scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Penn College Field House, provides a variety of fun, hands-on math and science demonstrations geared toward elementary and middle school students, as well as their families.

Twelve accepted students from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York attended the first "Spend the Night at Penn College" program Feb. 22-23, getting a more complete picture of student life than is afforded by a more concentrated visit. Pennsylvania College of Technology students will display their “Spring Wedding”-themed cakes during a competition at the college on March 7. Students spend about 18 hours of class time on their three-tiered cakes. Each is covered with fondant, donated by the competition’s sponsor, CalJava International.
