Students in a human services class at Pennsylvania College of Technology will host a fair-trade sale Nov. 14-16 in the Bush Campus Center. The annual sale helps working poor in other countries. Facilitated by students enrolled in the course Community and Organizational Change, the Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sale will feature handcrafted goods.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library, will host “All of Nowhere: Explorations in Architecture and Identity” from Nov. 15 to Dec. 16. The exhibit features the paintings of Morgan Craig.

Blood drive eases Sandy's shortfall "The amazing faculty, staff and students at Penn College know that their blood contributions save lives every day,” noted Carl L. Shaner, College Health Services director, after a Wednesday/Thursday drive netted 294 pints of blood – 50 more than the college's inaugural two-day collection in September.

The public is invited to a free discussion of the supernatural – and a paranormal search of the premises afterward – when “ghost hunter” Chris Fleming makes a storm-delayed appearance at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Pennsylvania College of Technology’s School of Hospitality will host “An Evening of Pennsylvania Food, Beer and Wine” on Nov. 14, offering opportunities to learn more about the pairing of fine beer and wine with food and to benefit the Peter Hellermann Scholarship Fund. Scheduled at 6:30 p.m.

Penn College faculty – many joined by their students – offered close to 50 hands-on workshops, demonstrations and tours to high schoolers who visited campus Friday for Career Day. The event is facilitated twice a year,  in October for students in grades 9-12 and in May for students in grades 7-9, by the college’s Outreach for K-12 Office.
