Pennsylvania College of Technology's Board of Directors on Thursday authorized a lease agreement that would provide the college access to state-owned property west of Rose Street, approved a name for the new masonry facility, and endorsed an additional goal for inclusion in the college's strategic goals and initiatives for 2010-13.
Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, a fine-dining laboratory for students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Hospitality, held a pair of events in February to showcase its redecorated dining room. Area music lovers were treated to a midwinter night's dream Friday: performances by three bands at Penn College's second annual Cure the Blues Fest in the Field House. Sponsored by the Student Activities Office, the evening offered appearances by the Matt Corey Band, Ann Kerstetter and the All-Star Band of Cronies, and the Chuck Lambert Band.
