Despite at-times-gloomy weather that prompted its move into the Field House, the 10th-anniversary edition of WEBStock the Wildcat Events Board's traditional end-of-semester celebration of fun, food and music was a success. An estimated 400 students attended over the four-hour period, enjoying the music of three bands and the added attractions.
A group of students and faculty advisers from the Human Services Club attended the Mid-Atlantic Consortium for Human Services at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, N.J., from April 17-19. The students attended workshops on such topics as community involvement, date rape, drugs and alcohol, and many others.

The Penn College colony of Sigma Nu held a fundraising Spring Car Show on campus Saturday, with music, food, sunshine and more than 50 vehicles showcased on the BTC parking lot. Proceeds from the fraternity's inaugural event will benefit the Sigma Nu Leadership Initiatives Fund, which sponsors campus leadership events for all students; trophies were awarded in 19 classes.
Students in the ornamental horticulture: landscape technology major at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Schneebeli Earth Science Center constantly are working on projects that add lasting interest and beauty to the Allenwood-area campus. One such project, the Idea Garden, will combine several unique landscaping ideas and design features.

Ringling's Forest Land Management class.
Fundraising efforts by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Student Government Association have resulted in another scholarship award for a returning student. Justin A. Ball, of Sandy Ridge, accepted the Student Leader Legacy Scholarship award at the 2008-09 Student Activities Awards Banquet on April 29. Ball is a graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola Senior High School.
