True to its name, Penn College's Student Engagement Office rolls out a regular range of activities for the campus community’s enjoyment, education and outreach. Celebrating the upcoming Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, “Henna and Hot Fudge” offered a fun way to learn about the art of mehndi and enjoy a “make-your-own” dessert. Stirring in some coffee and activism, “Café con Amigos” and “Si, Se Puede” were among the hands-on events honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. Wildcats enjoy broadening their horizons, and sometimes, that happens from the home hub that is the Bush Campus Center.

Always involved, campus leader Kellor A. Schooley takes part in "Si, Se Puede" (which translates to "Yes, You Can!"), a service and activism initiative held in CC Commons. Schooley is a senior in business administration from Turbotville.

Working with the United Churches of Lycoming County group, Church Women United, students helped make "fidget quilts" for children in the hospital and residents of senior care facilities.

The event aimed to offer a hands-on service activity and inform students of Hispanic activists' efforts.
