Seasons came to a close for the soccer and women’s volleyball teams, but first, the men’s soccer team made modern history by reaching the United East Conference Championship match. Also, the basketball seasons got underway, with the women’s team off to its best start in 17 seasons, and the wrestling team had two individual champions. Penn College’s cross-country runners will close out their season Saturday in the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship.

Student engagement recently hosted Grocery Loteria. Loteria is a Mexican game similar to bingo – a Penn College favorite. In addition to learning a new game, players had a chance to win packages of ingredients – with accompanying recipes – to make common Hispanic dishes.

A beautiful autumn day welcomed 1,740 prospective students and guests to the second fall Open House at Pennsylvania College of Technology, a 7% year-to-year increase in attendance.

This November, the Wildcat Express is hosting Give To The Cupboard – a monthlong event encouraging donations to The Cupboard to help students struggling with food insecurity. To kick the month off, The Cupboard received a donation from one of Penn College’s littlest Wildcats.

The women’s basketball team, coming off its best season in the program’s NCAA era, plays its first games this weekend, traveling to Alfred State on Friday and hosting Keuka College on Saturday in Bardo Gym.
