The legendary Art Garfunkel, among the Community Arts Center's opening acts in 1993, is returning to headline the venue's 25th Anniversary season. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. March 13. Hailed by The New York Times as a “beautiful countertenor,” Garfunkel has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of Simon and Garfunkel.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will feature battles of ingenuity later this month when it hosts SWORD Fall Fights 2018. Approximately 50 combat robots will “fight” in the double-elimination tournament that is open to the public. Trophies and gift certificates will be awarded to the top three finishers in the 1- and 3-pound weight classes.

Calling all runners, hikers and walkers: The Community Challenge needs YOU! The 2018 Community Challenge is set for Saturday, Nov. 10, and the Penn College community is invited to join the annual effort to raise funds for the Salvation Army of Williamsport.
