The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Madigan Library, is hosting "Cipher," a collection of ceramic works by Shalya Marsh, through Feb 9. An opening reception was held there Tuesday evening; other activities included an artist's lecture in the SASC and a follow-up talk in the gallery. Hours for the exhibit are 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 11 a.m.

Leroy Joiner, a sophomore on the Penn College men's basketball team, has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II Player of the Week for Jan. 10-17 – a first for Wildcat athletics. In two victories, Joiner averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4.5 assists. He leads the team in scoring this season with 228 points and has scored 720 thus far during his career.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will host its spring Visiting Chef Series Feb. 17-19, welcoming Chef DeJuan Roy, executive chef of 95 Cordova at the historic Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, Fla.
