The Tutoring Center hours for the Fall 200 semester will be 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. In addition, online tutoring will be available. Directions for accessing student accounts are available on the Academic Support Services Web site .
Members of the information technology staff at the IMC one of Pennsylvania's seven Industrial Resource Centers recently traveled to conferences in Florida and Texas. Steve Shaible, Zane Patalive and Kenny Steinbacher attended the TechEd conference at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center in June, and Shaible and Patalive took part in July's Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Third Eye," a collection of works by Brad Holland, from Aug. 14 to Sept. 14. Now considered one of the top illustrators in the world, Holland became a recognized name in the print industry in the 1970s.
Penn College held its Summer Commencement ceremony Saturday at the Community Arts Center. Jasmine Elmore, of Jersey Shore, who received an associate of applied science degree in emergency medical services from the School of Health Sciences, was the student speaker. Pennsylvania College of Technology has honored Carol J. Kafer, associate professor of biology, with an Excellence in Teaching Award. Excellence in Teaching Awards are presented to full-time faculty members who have been nominated by their students and colleagues for excellence in instructional performance.
