Fall Open House at Pennsylvania College of Technology − a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University − will be held Sunday, Oct. 26, providing opportunities for prospective students, their families and friends to learn more about the college, its academic programs and facilities. The event will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nathan D. Smyth has been named assistant dean of health sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Smyth joined Penn College in 2006 as coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Health Sciences. Previously, he was program director for the U.S.
The Madigan Library and The Gallery at Penn College are pleased to announce the winners of the "Inspired by ... Brad Holland" contest: First place ($100) was awarded to Nathaniel Aldinger, art, and Joel Ifill, writing, for "Brad Wholland?" Second place ($50) went to Timothy Miller, art.
An educational display of American flags, tracing the progression from mere banner to majestic national symbol, is among the Constitution Week events scheduled at Pennsylvania College of Technology from Sept. 15-19. The historical "Hall of Flags" will be presented by members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1057, Jersey Shore, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The School of Health Sciences and Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology will sponsor a health literacy workshop on Oct. 3. The workshop, titled "What It Is, Why It Matters, How You Can Help," will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in Penn's Inn on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center.
