Fourteen Penn College students traveled to Rome, Naples, Pompeii and other significant sites to study the art and architecture of antiquity from Dec. 31-Jan. 9 with Mark J. Mahosky, program leader and part-time instructor of advertising art. Shanin L. Dougherty, international programs specialist, said the students had a great time learning about art and experiencing another culture.

The Student Government Association announces that three new senators were appointed Wednesday night: Garrett M. Book, Gregory J. Miller and Joseph M. Fox. Garrett M. Book Book, an ornamental horticulture major from Lancaster, was appointed as an SGA senator for the School of Natural Resources Management. He also serves as treasurer for the Horticulture Club at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center.
