SGA Student Government Association officers for 2015-16 were chosen last week in an election that saw a record turnout of Penn College student voters. A total of 233 votes were cast during the weeklong balloting, 84 more than last year and 48 votes higher than any other year in SGA's history of online voting. Eight first-place winners from Pennsylvania College of Technology have advanced to the 51st annual National SkillsUSA Conference, to be held from June 22-26 in Kentucky. Five other students from the college finished in the top four places in a variety of categories during the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania Leadership and Skills Conference held April 8-10 in Hershey.

Despite another up-and-down week weatherwise, most Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams saw action and for the golfers the season is about to conclude. Golf Competing Monday in the Dutchmen Spring Invitational at Lebanon Country Club, the Wildcats placed seventh in a 14-team field. Individually for Penn College, Corey Teeple, of Lake Ariel, fired a 79 on the 6,272-yard.
