Penn College, which last week ushered in the 63rd Little League World Series with a cookout and an impressive presence in the Grand Slam Parade, continues to be a most valuable player on the event's support team.
Penn College's welding department has taken up residence at 401 Eureka Place, in the eastern side of the city, for 2009-10. The site accommodates laboratory equipment, classrooms and faculty offices while the Avco-Lycoming Metal Trades Center undergoes renovation.
