The Village/Campus View team set the tone early on its way to beating College West/Rose Street, 14-0, in Sunday's Powder Puff Football game. The Village/Campus View team was led by two touchdowns from Melissa Berrier, one by her arm and the other from her legs. Berrier sneaked in her first touchdown early in the first quarter and Alyssa Giedroc added the extra point to make the score 7-0.

Forty seventh- and eighth-grade girls spent Saturday learning the significance of science and mathematics during Penn College's spring session of Science and Math Applications in Real-World Technologies for Girls (SMART Girls). The American Red Cross was "extremely pleased" with the turnout for Wednesday's Bloodmobile at the Bush Campus Center, where a total of 192 individuals registered to give blood and 160 pints were collected falling short of the 170-pint goal, but still a huge success. Every pint collected goes to saving another life.
