Penn College's award-winning, national public television series "You're the Chef" will be the focus of WVIA-TV's " State of Pennsylvania " program from 7-8 p.m. Thursday. "You're the Chef" hosts Chef Paul Mach and Tom Speicher, along with School of Hospitality students Rachel Hall and Christine Faherty, will be on hand to discuss the series' seventh season, which premieres at 12:30 p.m.

An all-College reception was held Tuesday afternoon in the Thompson Professional Development Center for Dr. William H. Feddersen, president of Williamsport Area Community College from 1974-80. Postseason play continues for six Pennsylvania College of Technology fall sports teams this week. All six are competing in the Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference playoffs for the first time, while the College's cross country teams also are participating in the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Conference finals.

Rachel S. Hall, a Resident Assistant at The Village at Penn College, has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for August. Hall, who hails from Altoona, is a third-year student working toward a bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts Technology with an associate's degree in Dietary Manager Technology.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold Fall Visitation Day for prospective students and their families as well as other visitors who wish to learn more about the College on Sunday, Oct. 24. It is not necessary to pre-register, but those who register online by Oct. 18 will receive a suggested schedule of activities in order to make the most of their time on campus.

While the Pennsylvania College of Technology golf and cross country teams prepare to go deeper into postseason play next week, the College's baseball, women's volleyball and men's soccer teams are set to get their first taste of playoff action.
