Students enrolled in a catering class at Pennsylvania College of Technology will combine their talents with fresh, local food when they prepare dishes for the public at the Williamsport Growers Market on Sept. 9. As guest chefs, the students will offer demonstrations and samples, preparing dishes made from the products available at the market.

Dennis R. Dorward, an associate professor of building construction management at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently earned a doctorate from the Indiana State University. Dorward, whose research was in construction project scheduling, was awarded a Ph.D. in technology management with a construction management specialization.

Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country teams have won eight league or conference championships during five years under coach Mike Paulhamus, and, if early season indications hold true, this may be his best team ever."I've got a very talented squad.
