The Fall 2015 issue of One College Avenue magazine includes stories about alumni using their education to ease the task of fetching water in rural India and to oversee a major highway construction project that will bypass the congested Shamokin Dam area, along with many other stories highlighting Penn College life and the accomplishments of students, alumni and employees.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Summer Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Kyle G. Stavinski, of Elysburg, who was awarded an associate degree in emergency medical services, was the student speaker.

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented its Distinguished Alumni Award to Warren A. Peter during Summer 2015 commencement ceremonies held Aug. 8 at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented student achievement awards to its August 2015 graduates. A Summer Commencement ceremony was held Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport. The award winners, their hometowns and academic majors are: President's Award, presented for leadership and service to the college: Kelle B. Johnson, Wellsboro, physician assistant.

Justin W. Beishline has been named assistant dean for the School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Beishline, who grew up in Benton and resides in Millville, had been an instructor of diesel equipment technology at the college since the Fall 2008 semester.

Wine Spectator magazine recently released its annual Restaurant Guide, again naming Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Le Jeune Chef Restaurant among the “Award of Excellence” recipients. The world's best wine lists are featured in this annual guide, which presents the winners in the magazine’s Restaurant Awards program.
