A team of associate-degree students from Penn College finished third in this week's Residential Construction Management Competition in Las Vegas, while its four-year counterpart placed 13th among 35 entries. Benjamin L. Thayer, a building construction technology major from Hampton, N.J., and captain of the college's two-year team, was chosen as an outstanding student-chapter member.

Training held for newest Healthy Wildcats Six students have joined the Healthy Wildcats – newly trained to promote health and wellness at Penn College through events and advocacy – following a daylong retreat at the Thompson Professional Development Center on Saturday.

Four members of the Penn College Martial Arts Club team attended a training seminar and tournament at The Pennsylvania State University on Saturday. Mathew D. Johnson, Alexander J. Hilton, Lewis C. Muya and Eric M. Russell represented Penn College, joining students from the host club, as well as from Drexel, Temple and Bucknell universities.
