Pennsylvania College of Technology will host a Secondary and Postsecondary Welding Educators Summit on April 6 to discuss a variety of issues in welding education in Pennsylvania. The event, scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The School of Health Sciences and Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology are sponsoring the four-day workshop "Sensory Integration for Pediatric Occupational Therapists" at the college in May. Although roster numbers are down somewhat this year, the optimism for the coming women's softball season expressed by Pennsylvania College of Technology coach Roger Harris is as high as ever. The Wildcats, Harris' eighth edition, open their season Tuesday at Penn State Harrisburg. "Last fall and early this spring, when I started looking at who we had, I was optimistic," Harris said.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Children's Learning Center has received a Keystone Stars Merit Award of $49,570 for 2008-09. The center uses the funds for staff development, the purchase of toys and furniture for the children, accreditation-related expenses, special health and nutrition activities, and family events.
