The Earn & Learn Program (Job Location and Development), through Career Services, is one of the federal work-study programs administered byPennsylvania College of Technology. The purpose of the program is to locate and develop part-time jobs, both on and off campus for students who want to work and who are currently enrolled.

Thomas E. Vargo Sr., whose years at Williamsport Area Community College (predecessor to Penn College) included membership on the health and physical education faculty, died Thursday, Aug. 13. The success of archer Zachary Plannick, a rising Penn College junior who was a member of America's gold medal-winning men's compound team in the recent World University Games in Serbia, is noted on the U.S. Collegiate Archery Web site.
