Beginning in May, Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer a series of cooking demonstrations to the public. The Creative Cuisine Series features six sessions presented by faculty and professional staff in the college's School of Hospitality. The offerings from the college and the Alamo, Calif.-based firm enable businesses to provide safety training for their employees regardless of their location or the number of workers who are participating.

Sixty-five people, representing 30 plastics companies, made a visit to Penn College's campus Oct. 22 for an Extrusion Minitec (a mini technical conference). The program was a joint effort of the Society of Plastics Engineers and the college.

The noncredit workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Center for Business & Workforce Development on the main campus in Williamsport. The cost is $20, which includes a light lunch.
