One year ago, the Pennsylvania College of Technology coed tennis team won its first Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association championship under coach Charlie Baum. When the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team takes to the field Tuesday at Lehigh Carbon Community College, it will do so under a new head coach. Rees Daneker, a longtime assistant in the scholastic baseball programs both at Montoursville and Loyalsock Township, succeeds Mike Stanzione as coach of the Wildcats.

Last spring, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's softball team got its first taste of playoff action under coach Roger Harris. This year, it is looking for continued success. "We should have a good year. I think we're going to have a great nucleus of girls (for the future).

Pennsylvania College of Technology claimed two first-place finishes during last weekend's Eastern Indoor Regional Archery Championships and picked up valuable points that eventually could lead to All-American status for some of its archers.

In the course of one season under coach Wes Strayer, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's volleyball team turned from an also-ran into a contender. This season, the Wildcats are expected to do even more.

When all of the pins were done falling, Pennsylvania College of Technology had claimed three titles in the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association Bowling Championships held over the weekend at Faxon Lanes in Loyalsock Township.
