When the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team takes to the field Tuesday at Lehigh Carbon Community College, it will do so under a new head coach. Rees Daneker, a longtime assistant in the scholastic baseball programs both at Montoursville and Loyalsock Township, succeeds Mike Stanzione as coach of the Wildcats.

Three Pennsylvania College of Technology bowlers are hoping to repeat as state champions during the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association championships this weekend at Faxon Lanes in Loyalsock Township. Singles and doubles action begins at 1 p.m. Saturday. Team competition will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team saw its season end before it ever got to take to the court against Penn State York in the first round of the Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference playoffs Tuesday. "We ran out of players. Two girls are injured and there's no way we can play. It's a shame, but there's nothing we can do about it," coach Ron Kodish said.
