Members of the Penn College community had the opportunity to "Meet the Wildcats" players and coaches from the men's and women's basketball, bowling and dance teams Wednesday in the Field House. The night included free food (including cotton candy and popcorn), T-shirts and spirit towels, a chance to win gift cards and other prizes, and performances by the Dance Team.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology basketball season begins Monday night and with it a new era in Wildcat sports, as men's and women's games will be broadcast live on WLYC radio (ESPN 1050 AM and 104.1 FM).

The off-campus team, led by two touchdowns from Jess Strausser, defeated the on-campus squad, 14-7, in a Powder Puff Football game played on a cold November evening on the Penn College Soccer Field. Intramural assistant Jeremy R. Bottorf recaps Sunday's game: Strausser ran for the first score to make it 7-0 and later connected on a pass with Kim Carbaugh to make the score 14-0.
A variety of intramural activities have been announced for the Field House and other facilities. The Field House and outdoor basketball court/ice rink are located on the west end of the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus; the Field House is the location for indoor intramural activities and open gym. Even while its teams were competing in national tournaments, seven Pennsylvania College of Technology soccer players were named United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-Americans.
