Student's artwork on display through Dec. 16 Michele D. Lucas, who plans to graduate in May with degrees in graphic design and studio arts, is exhibiting her recent ceramics in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College (Madigan Library, third floor) through Dec. 16. A public reception to meet the artist will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library, invites Lycoming County artists to submit their work for consideration in the gallery’s “Art Alive! Lycoming County Juried Art Exhibition.” Deadline for submissions is Dec. 15. The exhibit is scheduled May 30 to June 28.

Traditional greetings of the season, fashioned by members of the Penn College family on oversized holiday cards, have been installed on the mall outside the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center. Opening night for a new exhibit, Morgan Craig's "All of Nowhere: Explorations in Architecture and Identity" in The Gallery at Penn College. The artist is introduced by Penny G. A tribute to veterans and a Penn College "Blue Out" were among the attractions at Monday's opening night of Wildcat basketball season in Bardo Gym. The evening featured a doubleheader against the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville, starting with the women's game at 6 p.m., a "thunder stick" giveaway and the chance for a student to win a $200 declining-balance meal plan from Dining Services.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library, will host “All of Nowhere: Explorations in Architecture and Identity” from Nov. 15 to Dec. 16. The exhibit features the paintings of Morgan Craig.

Penn College faculty – many joined by their students – offered close to 50 hands-on workshops, demonstrations and tours to high schoolers who visited campus Friday for Career Day. The event is facilitated twice a year,  in October for students in grades 9-12 and in May for students in grades 7-9, by the college’s Outreach for K-12 Office.

Befitting the themed focus on campus leaders − those from earlier days and those who continue their student mentorship as employees and graduates − Penn College Homecoming 2012 was one to remember.

A total of 1,662 fans were on hand for Thursday's 13th annual Penn College "Pack the Park Night" at historic Bowman Field – sponsored by the President's Office, Alumni Relations and Student Activities.
