There is a new challenge coming to the landscapes of Penn College and Lycoming College athletics. The two institutions, separated across downtown Williamsport, have shared the "Battle for the Lumber" in soccer and the "Crosstown Challenge" in basketball; now wrestling gets to go center stage at the Williamsport Community Arts Center when the Wildcats and Warriors meet for the "Billtown Brawl" on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.

The Dunham Children’s Learning Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology received a $6,000 Keystone Stars Continuous Quality Improvement Grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services through STEP Inc.

For the fifth time, Susquehanna Community Bank has made an Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program donation to the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation to assist with dual enrollment at the college. The bank’s $1,000 EITC donation will benefit the Penn College Dual Enrollment program, which enables academically qualified high school and career and technology center students to take tuition-free courses for college credit.

A dedicated group of Pennsylvania College of Technology students demonstrated their passion for engineering by attending the IEEE Region 1 & Region 2 Student Activities Conference at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Representatives from Coterra Energy, Pennsylvania College of Technology and elected officials from the region gathered on Jan. 24 for the presentation of a $1.4 million check in conjunction with the company’s Neighborhood Assistance Program donation to the college. The funds will pay for renovation and expansion of labs and instructional spaces in the college’s electrical and architecture & sustainable design programs, as well as generate Camp Freedom scholarships for veterans and first responders.
