The Lycoming College Scholars Program invites the campus community to a screening of the documentary, “The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin,” about the impending global impact of decentralized digital currency. The film begins at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. The event is free and open to the public.

Baccalaureate students who commit to completing their degrees in four years can freeze their tuition rates as part of a new initiative launching at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Momentum Incentive Program enables students to opt in for a Fall 2020 start. The program is open to first-time, full-time bachelor-degree students who enroll by May 1, 2020.

Alumna Kate Stepnick returned to campus Wednesday, sharing her circuitous journey from graduate to a rewarding position as camp director at an area facility for children with special needs.
