Penn College joined The Guthrie Clinic in hosting the Northern Tier Regional Rural Health Summit on Wednesday. More than 100 health care leaders, policymakers and community partners converged on Penn College’s main campus to address pressing challenges and opportunities facing rural health care in Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming counties.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed Melissa E. Sedor as its physician assistant program director.

Dr. Sheldon M. and Denise M. Schwartz, of Montoursville, have established the Schwartz Family Physical Therapy Clinic Fund, a limited duration fund to support the operations of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s recently opened Physical Therapy Clinic.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, club members and program faculty donned various hues of pink as they shared vital information about the importance of regular breast cancer screening.

Three members of Penn College’s Pennsylvania Xi Chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society organized a drive to collect first aid items for a medical clinic in Kenya. The students worked diligently to collect thousands of dollars’ worth of items, including thermometers, syringes, gloves, suturing and catheter kits, surgical supplies, stethoscopes and more.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has completed a pilot program designed for students entering a pre-health program for the fall 2025 semester. Five incoming students and a current nursing student who served as a peer mentor participated in the Pre-Health Plunge Program, funded through a gift from AllOne Charities.
