Approximately 30 guests attended the annual gala of Penn College’s Student Nurses’ Association. The event featured a catered meal, raffle baskets and bingo.
The mission of the SNA is to bring together nursing students to invest, encourage and support one another, the campus and the surrounding community, said Kelly T. Bidlespacher, director of nursing: bachelor’s and graduate degrees, and this is the perfect opportunity to do that.
The gala celebrates SNA members and their commitment to the community and campus events. Graduating seniors are highlighted with a slide show featuring photos and future nursing plans. SNA cords are also presented.
“It is important to have comradery among the students, giving them a time to celebrate their hard work,” Bidlespacher said. “As always, it’s important to recognize our upcoming graduates and wish them well on their next steps.”
