A new $200,000 gift from The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation of Harrisburg brings the foundation's total scholarship support to Pennsylvania College of Technology students to more than $3 million. The scholarship endowment, the largest at Penn College, provides student recipients with $5,000 per year for up to four years.

On Feb. 1, College Relations at Pennsylvania College of Technology will launch its Center for Career Design – a physical space and operation on campus to bring students, alumni and industry partners together for all things career-related.

First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation, is donating $8,000 to Pennsylvania College of Technology to assist with Penn College NOW, a dual enrollment program. The FNB donation is being made through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program administered by the state Department of Community & Economic Development.

The Fish Real Estate Leadership Challenge Course, currently under development at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will provide the campus community and beyond with stimulating outdoor activities to foster leadership and team-building skills.

PPL Electric Utilities is donating $8,000 through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program to Pennsylvania College of Technology in support of Penn College NOW, a dual enrollment program. The Penn College Foundation is approved as an Educational Improvement Organization under the EITC program administered by the state Department of Community & Economic Development.

A gift from the family of area entrepreneur and real estate developer Dan Klingerman will fund renovation of the Wildcat Athletics office suite at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The family’s recent donation will also establish the Klingerman Family Wrestling Fund at the college.

Through a newly formed partnership, Terex Corp. is providing the latest technology to Pennsylvania College of Technology with the donation of a new crane engine and four drive axles. The equipment, valued at nearly $70,000, will be used to enhance instruction in the college’s heavy construction equipment technology and diesel technology programs.

The COVID pandemic did not deter a “week of togetherness” as College Relations invited alumni, corporate partners, students, parents and friends to celebrate, virtually, all the ways they Transform Tomorrow, Together. The week began with a video message from Loni N.

Student college relations assistants collaborated with fellow student leaders to coordinate campuswide “Give Thanks” engagement efforts to show their gratitude to those who invest in the Penn College experience. Scholarship recipients write thank-you cards to donors. Expressions of “Thanks” could be found in various forms across campus and throughout social media platforms.

Susquehanna Community Bank has made a second Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program donation to the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation to assist with an approved innovative educational program at the college.
