Pennsylvania College of Technology students embarked on a new approach to career exploration through the first-ever Virtual Career Fair. This Career Services-hosted event was held Oct. 20-21.

Students majoring in one of five manufacturing-related degrees are benefiting from a gift to Pennsylvania College of Technology, featured in a YouTube video. Larry A. Ward, founder of Packaging Progressions Inc., made a donation exceeding $1 million to revamp the college's machining lab – the largest alumni gift in the college's history.

A high-performance motor glider aircraft manufactured by Phoenix Air has been donated to Pennsylvania College of Technology for instructional purposes. Donors Farhad and Debi Saba gifted the Phoenix Air U-15, a single-engine, piston-powered aircraft that will be used by faculty and students in the college’s aviation maintenance program.

Three partners in a corporate aircraft have donated it to Pennsylvania College of Technology for instructional use in the college’s aviation maintenance program. The Bombardier (formerly Canadair) CL-600 Challenger jet, valued at nearly $825,000, is being donated by Ira M. Lubert, Anthony F. Misitano and Judith M. von Seldeneck.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed Chris S. Macdonald as assistant director of corporate relations. Macdonald joins Penn College after 21 years serving as a Class A PGA professional in the private club golf industry.

A trust established two decades ago by the late Dr. Marshall D. Welch Jr. and his wife, Mary L. Welch, has matured, and its remaining proceeds are being designated for a variety of efforts campuswide to assist students and bolster instruction.
