An interdisciplinary collaboration at Pennsylvania College of Technology applied three-dimensional printing to a singular piece of American history, readying an electric 1908 Studebaker for display at a prestigious international automobile show in Florida.

Clifford P. Coppersmith, former dean of sciences, humanities and visual communications, has been named president of Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland. Coppersmith was a Penn College dean from 2008-15, and most recently was dean of City College at Montana State University Billings. News of his selection as president was published Tuesday in The Star Democrat and on Chesapeake's website.

Pennsylvania College of Technology President Davie Jane Gilmour testified before the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday in support of the college’s state appropriation request.
