Robert Slothus, director of radiography at Pennsylvania College of Technology, offered input on the first draft of a radiography textbook to be published in 2010. Slothus completed a review for "Digital Radiography: An Introduction for Technologists," offering insight on the book's content and format.

Sharon G. Auker has been appointed director of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Auker, an associate professor of medical/surgical nursing at the college, will assume her new duties on Jan. 12. As a full-time faculty member in Penn College's nursing program for 12 years, Auker has taught bachelor- and associate-level nursing courses.

Jane J. Benedict, associate professor of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was recently reappointed to a second term on the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission's evaluation review panel. Benedict's second consecutive three-year term on the evaluation review panel will begin Jan. 1. The NLNAC is recognized by the U.S.

Candace S. Baran has been named director of financial aid at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Baran, formerly a director of professional and community education for Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, succeeds Dennis L.
